Tormented by his sins in Krynn, dark knight in scorched armor, Lord Loren Soth,
the master villain from the Dragonlance world, the Knight Of The Black Rose, enters the world of the mists,
due to a great treachery, too evil even for him. He finds himself trapped inside a bleak world of darkness and,
trying to get his holds between the two worlds and unravel the plots of a master vampire. Soth seeks Kitiara
Uth Matar, the so called Blue Lady. He steps into the shadowy realm to find her, and instead he finds more torment
and suffering (Knight of The Black Rose).

As the time pass by, Soth captures an illusionist mage, and forces him to make a collection of
magical mirrors that will show Soth’s life at Krynn, and all past events, so he can alter them
in his memory, but not in reality. Soth enters the mirrors, more frequently, as boredom conquers him
(he defeated all threats in his domain of Sithicus, as Ravenloft, grated him his own dimensional prison),
and he becomes entangled inside a web of alternative reality, and, finally he can’t tell truth from
fiction, so he falls into a trance. His domain starts to dissolve into nothingness, and so, a group of
heroes, take the risk to “save” him and his land (When Black Roses Bloom).

As Soth wakens from this slumber, his finds only malice and havoc upon his land. The New Dukkar, the nemesis of the
Vistani has declared war against the entire domain, due to a band of a mighty Vistani tribe, “protected” from Soth.
Soth tries to fight back, but other plots are at hand. His new seneschal, Azrael a werebadger, has made a pact with
the so called “pit of shadows” for power. But not only Azrael lusts for Soth’s destruction. A monster called “The
Bloody Cobbler”, schemes a plot against Soth, and a person called “The White Rose” is said to haunt the hills around
Nedragaard Keep.

Soth believes that Kitiara’s reincarnation has returned and now he is in dilemma: To save the
Vistani from the Dukkar, or to try and track down the White Phantom? He finally reaches to the truth, only to find
the The White Rose, is his first wife, Lady Gladria, followed by his two sons, the Bloody Cobbler, his second son,
doomed to die in the fire of Paladine, and his first son, that he didn’t knew he had, from Lady Gladria, a half mad
creature, called The Whispering Beast, that serves as the speech inside insane peoples’ minds. They perform an
ancient ritual, and manage to send Soth back to Krynn….. Finally the lord of Dargaard Keep is home again….
(Spectre Of The Black Rose).
